You should sponsor the site because I have a strong curatorial vision for the products I choose to write about. I don’t get paid for posts. I don’t give preferential treatment. I only choose beautiful, finely crafted, high concept products to feature. If your product fits this description, then I think you will find a sponsorship valuable. If your product isn’t a natural fit, I will tell you about it. If you’re a sponsor and I love your products, I will praise it any chance I get.
Also, I average about three posts per day, but for every one hour that I spend writing, I will spend three hours marketing and promoting the site. So in a sense, I’m a salesperson and an advocate for the sponsors. And, the more successful Design Crack becomes, the more valuable you sponsorship will be.
What would I get as a sponsor of Design Crack?
You would get a prominent advertisement on the site. The advertisements come in two sizes:

This depends on what stat program you choose to use. On AWStats, Design Crack has generated about 40,000 unique visitors and 70,000 page views from February 19th to March 19th, 2007. I prefer to use what I consider a more conservative and accurate statistic which is Google Analytics. On Google Analytics, Design Crack has generated about 7,514 unique visitors and 16,735 page views from February 19th to March 19th, 2007 This removes all the web crawler and gets down to the real people.

How much will the sponsorship cost my company?
Sponsorship cost is based strictly on the traffic performance using the Google Analytics page view statistics and the size of the advertisement.
The 160 X 60 pixel advertisement costs $10.00 per thousand page views to the site with a 50,000 page view maximum per month (subject to change based on future traffic).
The 160 X 160 pixel advertisement costs $15.00 per thousand page views to the site with a 50,000 page views maximum per month (subject to change based on future traffic).
Minimum ad buys are 3 months. Discounts will be available for longer ad buys.
I really think that any company with the right product will find our advertising rates an exceptional value. If you are not satisfied with the results and you inform me within the first 30 days, please let me know and your first 30 days will be free and you are free to cancel the ad buy completely.
Two Example Sponsorships:
If you make a one month ad buy of a 160 x 160 pixels, and the page views are 70,000 per month for the three months, you would pay $15.00 CPM X 50,000 (50,000 is max.) page views = $750/month.
If you make a one month ad buy of a 160 X 60 pixels, and the page views are 16,000 per month for the three months, you would pay $10.00 CPM X 16,000 page views = $160/month.
How will I know my ad will be prominent on the site?
I will never have more than 5 sponsors on the site at one time. This means your sponsorship won’t get lost in a swirl of advertising. All the sponsors will be featured prominently at the top right corner of the site on every page except the forum.
