Recently, I’ve come upon the Muon speaker. Muon speakers are, quite frankly, the most opulent speakers ever made at an unreasonable price of $145,000. Mind you, this price would get you a Ferrari with a pretty decent sound system. But, if you are extremely wealthy and are an audiophile who knows no bounds then you will want to have a pair of these exclusive speakers. Each speaker stands six feet tall and has been made from super heated aluminum sheets that are vacuum formed into the final shape, a technique so innovative that it is normally reserved for manufacturing experimental jet fighters. The aluminum frame is then buffed into a glossy mirror finish. The speakers has the sensuous presence of a beautiful woman. The shape is derived by painstaking computer modeling to come up with the perfect form to amplify what you want to hear and cancel out what you don’t want to hear. To add to the provenance of this speaker, world famous British Designer, Ross Lovegrove, has led the design and manufacture of the speaker. And even if you are a rich audiophile willing to plunk down as much money as a small house for these speakers, you may not get the chance to own these because the production run will remain at an extremely exclusive 100 pairs. So, consider seeing this at a circus sideshow near you.

Have you ever wanted to feel like an important character in a 1960s Godzilla film? Maybe you don’t know why the hell I’m asking this question. But some of you are saying “Hell yes!”. I know I would have loved to live this life. It would involve me wearing square horned rimmed glasses ala Run DMC, and riding in a Toyota Century, one of the finest luxury vehicles on earth. What I find amazing is this vehicle has not changed aesthetically since the 1960s, and yet is still being produced and cherished as the vehicle that says you’ve made it as a Japanese businessman. This would be the ultimate Pimp-My-Ride vehicle! Hey, Lil’ John: if you read, and you happen to see this blog post, please buy one of these and trick it out. Then send me some pictures.

Description: The Ford GT is the the retro high-end exotic equivalent to every other car company in 2006. But comparisons are not needed with the high end exotics, at least to me. To me fast is fast and sexy is sexy. Usually I judge the cars by a cost to will-it-get-me-laid ratio. At over $150,000, the price is a bit steep, but it should do the trick.

I’m really only mentioning this car because I have a soft spot in my heart for American sportscars. This one, quite honestly, is a bit stripped down and simple. The shifting and controls are extremely simple, obvious, and beautiful. Even though it’s been out for a year, I wanted to mention it because it will not be coming back, and a purchase of a 2006 Ford GT is a purchase of American history.
