I’ve always wanted to do a watch that gave you different facial expressions to relate the time to you. For instance, 8am might show an expression of someone bleary eyed but refreshed where 2 am might show bloodshot eyes and extra bags.

Now, he takes his hand at a collection that is rich, diverse, and built upon such design stars as Konstatin Grcic and Ross Lovegrove, but the list is so deep that it would be hard to mention all the talent.

Above, I show my favorite which is the scissor chair designed by kiki Van Eijk. It’s thin, sensible, restrained, and modern yet homey. this would be my rocking chair of choice if I were I retired to an OMA villa.

Illusion Table is so expertly performed that I couldn’t quite geta handle on its expertly crafted form. First, it is made from laquered ash which is not what I thought. At first glance, it’s steel or aluminum or anything else but wood. But this illusive use of such a simple material is not where the illusion table gets its name. It gets its name from what the table looks like in plan. In plan, it takes on the form of a perfect square not the sloping curve of it’s side profile. This is quite a slick, thoughtful piece.

There are so many special pieces that will be shown at 100% Norway that it’s too hard to talk about them all. Probably my favorite piece is The white Origami Chair shown as the second to last image. This chair is designed by So Takahashi and is a made of plate and bar steel with a beautiful white powder coat finish. Another clever design is the Subconscious Effect of Daylight table with light, designed by Daniel Rybakken. This table creates its own shadow sans daylight. It’s almost as if the table is creating its own stage set or alternate reality with the subtle use of its shadow.
