Baja Charcoal Package by Mike and Maaike

Mike and Maaike, two local San Francisco Designers who work in a variety of industries, have created a very simple and effective packaging solution for charcoal company Lazzari. The packaging is made of recycled paper pulp similar to the packaging you might carry four softdrinks in. The beauty of this design is the packagings form. The simple flue at the bottom of the package and the vents at the top make the need for lighter fluid or any other mechanism to help burning obsolete. This means better barbequeing for the environment, no packaging wasted, and simplicity added to something that was already reasonably simple.
