This gold plated ceramic juicer is designer Giuliano Lacchetti’s opportunity to protest the Catholic church and make a fine citrus beverage in the process. The juicer, sown above, is a miniature version of Saint Peter’s Square in the Vatican City. The concept is that the Church squeezes every last penny out of its parishioners while the Papal bigwigs live in golden luxury. The concept produced by Pandora Design is lofty, well executed beauty but comes in a close second in terms of high-concept juicers falling a bit behind the sexy “Juicy Boobs” which I wrote about a few months back.

love it, but it’s not actually gold-plated, it’s just glazed with gold paint.

My bad. Thanks for pointing this out. The concept is so clever, though. I thank the stars for people like Giuliano Lacchetti.
