Ontwerpers, the Dutch Design Duo of Christiaan N.J. Oppewal and Silvijn van der Velden, have created a fantastic chair and shelving combination. This chair is for the serious writer out there. Here’s how I think the chair is most optimally used with the professional author or journalist in mind: First, choose all of the books that you would want to use as either a writing reference book or a book for inspiration. Then, arrange the books on the shelves with the most important books easily within your grasp. Next, set up your laptop on the Cabinet Chair’s desk. You’re almost ready. Finally, take your coffee machine and squeeze it right behind the back of the chair, and take your favorite bottle of liquor and place it directly behind your computer. Now, you got it: the ultimate writing station has been devised complete with favorite vices.
