If you live in New York, chances are you have or you soon will see the Celine Green Buffalo Leather Handbag around town. It’s H-O-T hot. First, let’s talk about the buckle. It’s a really chunky buckle which, to me at least, almost reminds me of the Fendi double buckle bag in the way it can’t be missed. It almost looks like some sort of medieval chastity device. But, the best thing about the buckle is it prominently displays the beautifully crafted Celine crest for those who need to flaunt the brand. I know I would. Second, let’s say a word about its green-ness. This bag wears its heart on its sleeve. It freely preaches the virtues of green, and why not? Green is soooo hot right now that I think it’s the new black… or red… whatever. The color Celine has chosen is so perfect: it’s a slightly olive green but not so olive that it starts to look like a boring earthy color (as much as I like olive green it’s too safe sometimes). So if you haven’t bought a Celine bag in a while, and you have what I’m sure would need to be around $1,500 burning in your pocket, then consider this bag.
