I sometimes cover luggage. I’m just attracted to the architectural quality I guess. Ever since I covered a $20,000 suitcase designed by Frog Design as one of my very first posts, I’ve been on the hunt for the next ultimate case. This is not it. However, for $600 it is a darn good alternative. The leather and metal accents on this case are impeccable. I recently saw one in a shop and took a close look at which point I declared this bag the Cadillac of suitcases. I mean, it literally rips its form straight from the shape of the new Cadillacs. I’m even a bit surprised that there is no promotional deal between these two brands where if you buy a Caddy you get this suitcase. Also like a Cadillac, the case is durable, smooth, and makes you feel like a retiree owning one.

First off I work at a Somsonite Company Store and we sell countless Black Label Vintage pieces. This very product line sits in our front window and it recieves nothing less than expressions of awe and amazement. We sell more of these pieces to ages under 35 and I personally resent your distasteful remarks about feeling like a “retiree” while toting such a case. You obviously must be atleast 50.

Did you read my post? I like this suitcase. People that get so worked up over a slightly off comments about a Samsonite suitcase sounds like a Samsonite employee or a marketing wonk that gets paid to refute blog posts. Am I right?

Nice suitcase. I have an ideal to enhance the whole suitcase/travel experience. I already have this idea protected. Does anyone know how I can contact Samsonite and present my idea?
