The Herron School of Art and Design offers a tight-knit community of 800+ students and 60+ full and part-time faculty members. This means that students get a rich education and lots of individual attention from faculty and staff. People take the time to get to know you and your career goals.
What’s even better? Herron also is part of a much larger university. So if you want exposure to a campus community, you can get it. As part of Indiana University, and located on the urban campus of Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Herron students are among the 30,000 students enrolled at IUPUI. So, in essence, you’re getting the quality education that you’d expect from a private school but you have the resources and tuition costs representative of a state university. And if that isn’t enough, you get a good taste of campus life combined with city life. All of this goes to show that Herron is an excellent place for your art or design education.
