Let me start by saying that we’ve been getting a lot of submissions for the site. Please, keep them coming! I don’t put everything up, but some of the design that people send me is pretty darn cool. Kind of like the LE Lounge Chair by Maku. I could not get quite the picture I wanted that shows off the chair, but it’s hard to get a picture that tells the whole story of this chair. At a large scale, it’s formally modern with lines Le Corbusier would be proud of. At a tiny scale, it has intricate carvings underneath the arms of the chair, and extremely fussy (but cool) joinery that only a real craftsman could pull off. This is just debuting at ICFF this week, so have a look if you are in New York and close to the Furniture Fair.
