Alder by Brent Comber

I post all the pictures to Flickr that I put on the site . (let’s not get into the legalities, but I only post things I love and then promote the hell out of them, so I’ve had no complaints) I posted this one just yesterday, and it already got a comment suggesting that the image was generated in Photoshop. It may look like the image had been extruded: not true! This is the real deal. The artist and designer, Brent Comber, meticulously stacks hundreds of alder twigs and branches into a box and then pours black epoxy into the box to create a chunk of stuff. Then, the cutting and refining begins making the load of branches look like it were faked in photoshop. It’s that powerful.
