Sweet Home Laptop Power / Foot Warmer by Clement Eloy

Sweet Home Foot Warmer by Clement Eloy

OK. I wouldn’t call this product exactly “green” per se, but it does make something that is not so efficient into something useful. What I’m talking about is the laptop power / foot warmer by Clement Eloy. He’s created a design that takes your overly warm transformer that is required for every laptop to function, and placed the transformer in a pair of fuzzy slippers so your feet stay warm. I must say that my feet get cold. Usually, I turn on the heater just to heat up my feet. Of course, it heats up the whole house and is extremely inefficient. Now, I honestly think I may save some serious power consumption while I work on my laptop by using this product. These slippers would definitely pay for themselves! Unfortunately, this is just a prototype.

  4. Design Crack » Blog Archive » The Lucifer Match Striker by Clement Eloy Says:

[...] I’ve featured Clement Eloy tons of times on this blog. I’ve never met him or even spoken to him, but I like his design cleverness. He’s always looking for an edge to something such as his laptop power source / foot warmers or his hot doll (don’t ask, just look). Yet another edgy, smart design is what he calls the Lucifer Match Striker. The design is in a clear and black bullet shaped case with a hole in the top. Whenever you need a match, you can just turn this mechanism over, give it a tap, and pull out the match. The sides of the mechanism have a size calibrated to the head of the match, so when the match is pulled out, the rough sides of the Lucifer Match Striker ignite the flame. [...]
