Lovechild #1 rocking step stool by The Design Can

How do I start this? Every Wednesday, my wife and I babysit a beautiful two-and-a-half year old girl while her parents go to have a fancy dinner. Stacey and I have always loved this. The little girl is almost always sweet, and we have tons of fun. Recently, we were given a larger challenge when this couple had a second child, and they needed to drop off this kid at our house for three days. Stacey held up remarkably well while I crumbled into a mass of frowns due to this child’s incessant begging for candy or whatever. The truth is, I was much worse at her age, and any child will wear you down.

So, in my passive-aggressive dream of a childless house over the three days I fantasized about a product like the LoveChild #1 by The Design Can. The product is an unnatural fit. It’s a combination of rocking chair and a step stool made for young children. For an adult, the chair is a novelty. For a young child, it’s a dangerous game of climbing up and inevitably falling down and bumping his or her head. But if you are a parent who has just experienced a two hour temper tantrum (which I did not, by the way) you may want to introduce the child to this piece of furniture as a means to extract your revenge on the child.
