What: “INDEX: Summit is held in Copenhagen every other year, in connection with the awarding of INDEX: Award. At the Summit, the world’s leading experts in design and innovation present and discuss the newest knowledge within design and innovation and the future signification of these trends for Design to Improve Life.
In 2007, the theme of INDEX: Summit is User-centered Design & Innovation
40 international leading experts in User-centered Design & Innovation from the areas of business, design, research, media, policy-making and governance will gather at the Summit.
For four days, the participants will discuss User-centered Design & Innovation within both public and private sectors, on the basis of new cases and their own vast knowledge of the area.
Concluding, the summit participants will bring forward recommendations of how and where User-centered Design & Innovation can improve life for people around the world and be implemented within both the public and private sector.
Throughout the Summit, the participants will be assisted by 40 students from leading design and business schools, moderators and note takers.
As an integrated part of INDEX: SUMMIT in 2007, the summit participants share their knowledge with young design students from all over the world, the INDEX: Partners, the professional design trade as well as teaching- and research environments in the two events:” -INDEX: Website
