[...] There are a bunch of products I’ve featured by Marcel Wanders in the past. There’s the Microwave with the TV in the door. Then there was the City System Shelving for Mooi. All, beautiful stuff. But this is the first design that I could actually use in my home and could afford to buy. Well what is it, you ask. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, I know. It’s a kick ass stereo system designed for Holland Electro! The sub-woofer is called Pandora. Maybe because it’s in a box? The sub-woofer doubles as a side table and is accompanied by two “Eggs”, as HE calls them, which are remote speakers which receive their signal via Bluetooth. No more messy wires for that stereo. Because of it’s compact and subtle design, this would seem to be the perfect gift for the zen minimalist who likes to rock out. [...]
