Over the next week or two, I will include some of my favorite designers from ID Magazine’s “ID 40″ list of top designers of 2006. It’s a pretty amazing list, so I urge you to pick up a copy of this magazine.

Pleix is a group of motion designers and filmmakers based in Paris that really push the limits of tongue and cheek video art. I’ve included a You Tube video of their piece “Birds” in my post, but for subscribers of the newsletter check out this link. The image quality is superb, and I would imagine this group will be in huge demand for commercial work for a very long time to come. If Pleix can make humans wearing the latest fashions look as beautiful as the dogs in this video, then this group is in store for fame and fortune.
