I wanted to alert people to the crafts auction benefiting the James Kim Memorial Fund. I did not know James Kim, however I’m an avid podcast listener, and I’d heard him on the SF Chronicle’s Tech Talk podcast for the last year. If you don’t know the whole story, just google “James Kim” to find out the tragedy that happened to him and his family.
Please don’t hate me for this, but I’m here to write about a more selfish topic: The Crafts Auction. There is a ton of really awesome stuff that people have donated to the cause. I could hardly believe the breadth and depth of the objects of design that people have donated. I advise you to immediately stop what you are doing and visit the site to preview the items included.
