Trine Kornum’s work is extremely simple and consistent. She takes small irregularly shaped flowers cut from a soft, vibrantly colored felt, and she sews a grid through the felt flowers directly onto a linen pillow. The result is an opportunity to lay your head in a flowing field of flowers. I find her work to be a bit like Andy Goldsworthy, at least on a superficial craft level. They are seeking a different theme, however their work is powerful in its own way.

I know this is a floral designed pillow but the black color of the pillow and color combinations of the floral designs really do alot to make it look like a modern, contemporary pillow as opposed to a floral design. Trine Kornum’s design is really well thought out and is an inspired design.
