Description: In honor of Design Boom’s awesome 100% Tokyo Design Week, I’m including a few intersting products that I’ve found from some of the exhibitors.
The herb mill is one of those appliances that looks simple enough. However, the simplicity undermines the fact that it uses a very common hand motion to ease the act of crushing herbs. The simple wood egg is actually a very well thought out shape in its effectiveness. The movement is quite fluid to be compared to tai chi, and the functioning of the product, which is paramount, is surprisingly effective.
