Concrete and Steel Ring by Konzuk
Konzuk, a Canadian jewelry design firm, makes rings unlike any I’ve ever seen before. Their material choice is simple using primarily stainless steel and concrete. Wait, concrete? For a ring? No doubt, a great deal of experimentation was performed to make concrete an essential ingredient in their rings. The effect, as you can see in the picture above, is that the ring is like wearing a finely crafted piece of dirt on your finger sandwiched between steel. This is every architect’s dream. I know when I was married two years ago I searched everywhere for a ring such as this. My compromise was to buy a ring from the German Jewelry company of Carl Dau.
